​Robert Thomas CPA, LLC was founded in 2004 by Robert Thomas and is a majority women-owned business. The team possesses over 102 years of combined experience in bond verifications and is currently working with underwriters, financial advisors and bond attorneys throughout the entire country. Our reports are approved by active national bond insurers. Our experience ranges from straightforward refunding transactions to multifaceted and intricate refunding structures for high profile issuers.  We believe our extensive experience translates to superior service to all of our clients as we are able to address structuring nuances and tax considerations more efficiently and with the precision our clients deserve.

 In 1983, Robert Thomas began providing refunding and related bond verification services through his firm         Reda, Thomas & Seigel to several underwriters in the Kansas City area, and expanded these services to   underwriters throughout the midwest until 1987. After spending four years with a regional investment banking   firm in Kansas City, Mr. Thomas returned to public accounting as President and CEO of Donnelly Meiners Jordan   Kline (DMJK), a regional CPA firm, and has been providing independent CPA verification services ever since.   DMJK was acquired by an H&R Block (HRB) subsidiary, and in the year 2000 DMJK merged with McGladrey &   Pullen, LLP the 6th largest CPA firm in the country. Mr. Thomas was a partner in the Kansas City office of M&P   until April, 2004, when he acquired the verification practice and Robert Thomas CPA, LLC was formed. With 36 years of experience, Mr.   Thomas is a CPA and received the Kansas Society of CPA’s Life Member Award in 2015.
